    Chery and JLR have alot in common with a joint venture in China going back to early 2012. The first Range Rover Evoque rolled of the lines in 2014. In 2020 plans were for Chery to buy a share in TATA so it could sell cars there but covid shelved that. JLR will adopt Chery’s M3X and E0X architectures for its next gen cars.

    Chery developed the engine brand ACTECO, with Austria’s NVL, which was founded in 1997. Engine size’s range from 0.8l to 4l V8’s. The engine is used throughout the Chery group and also by other auto manufacturers.
