but for EVs – there are no emissions, so what’s the danger in letting a customer turn on the ignition?
The danger is that customers are either idiots or accompanied by idiots who have no idea what they are doing and are likely to kill half the people there 🤷♂️🤦♂️
I always thought the event was to let you sit in them to judge the in/out access and see the boot for storage, talk to the dealers to ask questions, to be able to directly compare different vehicles all in the one area without visiting multiple dealers, seeing the dash lit up won’t give you much info on how it is to use…. once you’ve narrowed down your search there, then you can go round showrooms to check out how the aircon works 👍
