Hi Glos guy, Saw one on the road. Very imposing. Same price as Honda CrV and I wouldn’t be interested in paying that much for a three year lease. See your car has gone back up. The Mazda CX 60 prices look far more reasonable for a large, well built, high quality offering.
I love the look of the front and side of the new Santa Fe (looks like the previous generation Discovery), but the back end is problematic for me. The very low down lights look all wrong. Same with the new Kona. Hyundai need to replace whoever designs the rear ends of their cars 😂
Yes I noticed that the Tucson is now more than @kezo and I paid, but anyone who managed to get one during the period when the AP was slashed to £2,999 got themselves an absolute bargain.
I liked the CX-60 in spite of its bland exterior styling and, in fact, it came 2nd in our search last year. Two things stopped me getting it though. Firstly I would have wanted to add a pack or two to the car which, annoyingly, when the car first came on the scheme were bundled with it. That made it very expensive. Also, the reviews of it weren’t great.
I’ve now looked through all the new additions and think I’d still choose the Tucson if ordering today, but I’d have to take a look at the Santa Fe first to see what the Premium version loses over the Ultimate Tucson. The only issue (other than the back end) is that it’s the same PHEV setup as the Tucson but in an even heavier car, and the Tucson is thirsty enough when the battery is depleted 🤔
