I was away for a few days but whilst driving to the airport at 3am last weekend, I wasn’t happy with how the automatic full beam was operating. It turned off completely when I entered areas with streetlights, but didn’t seem to turn off for oncoming traffic or when I was behind a car maybe 100 metres ahead. My previous 3008’s would have worked in that regard flawlessly. I understand that the headlight technology in this car is based on pixels, and that apparently the car turns individual pixels on and off when oncoming car lights are detected, but I can’t see how that is effective though, as I only passed a handful of cars on my way to the airport and at least a couple flashed at me, presumably because I was blinding them! I have just read on the Facebook group from a member saying that there is a current recall for the headlight sensor, so I’ll see if that is the case with the dealer.
