If the car doesn’t feel safe to you then don’t drive it and tell Motability that. Make sure that the replacement tyre is suitable for use on an EV, not all tyres are equal and it’s about time Motability took this into account.

I will be ringing Motorbility in the morning

Mixing brands a tread depths are one thing

Putting XL and non XL on the same axle is a step to far imo as the steering set up on the E Tec is so reactive more so than most, and did steer and drive well before they bodged the tyre change

Cant see why they couldnt get another Goodyear to match

They said Renault have odd sizes, well if thats true then the original on

Suspect its a cost saving exercise who knows

Cheers for the reply and will update here later so everyone has the heads up

P/S Kwik fit needs to change their name imo

Sat there for an hour while motorbility actioned the work then told to come back at 1.45 tomorrow ( over inflated the tyre with screw still in it to get ne home) arrived at 1.40 for the booked tyre change and told it would take 50 mins to change the tyre

    lol

I didnt expect a F1 change over but they hardly keep to the brands name

On top of that incorrect pressure was put in the new tyre and they fiddle and altered the other 3 correct tyre settings

So only after putting in the correct pressures myself was I able to determine just how bad the car was steering

See how I get on tomorrow, annoying that simple tasks are beyond some people

Rant over for now anyway lol
