Has anyone looked at Tomatoe energy (formerly Logicorenergy ltd)?
You get three different rates over 24hrs on their Tomato Lifestyle Fixed TP July 2024-V1-EV tariff:
00:00 – 06:00 5p/kWh
06:00 – 09:30 23.16p/kWh
09:30 – 11:30 13.37p/kWh
11:30 – 22:00 23.16p/kWh
22:00 -00:00 13.37p/kWh
What stands out is their low standing charge at 40.82p
They even do a a solar/battery 10yr tariff, with solar/battery installed, fixed at £80 month however, on the face of it, its not as cheap, as it looks and would need looking into seperately.
The big question is, will they weather the storm but, if you pay monthly for your energy use, it would be easier to move, without long delays. Tomatoe, energy was also investigated by OFCOM over concerns relating to their provision of data under the Energy Price Guarantee in December 2023.
