@kezo Thanks, again, mate. Brilliant Cunning Plan. Will try it and see what I get. If it is the same 3p or so per kwh difference which you’ve quoted then I’ll definitely keep away from the ev tariff.
Octopus Go will see about the same increase in day rate.
Octopus intelligent the gap is narrower.
My parents have stick to a single tariff, because they don’t do many miles, use medical equipment during the day and won’t move the washing machine/Tumble drier etc to overnight off peak. As an electrician, I have told them not to do that, as it isn’t safe.
You need to weigh up the pro’s & cons 🙂
P.S They have gone on a 12 month fix, to avoid increases next month and over winter and will look at fixing this time next summer!
