I had that problem. Motability and RAC blaming each other.
The bodge is to remove the MYRAC app from your phone. Wait 24 hours and re add it.
You will then be able to add your new vehicle and it shows as covered.
This happens on vehicle changeover. A bit of a faff but it works.
