With the Advance Payments being in the thousands more and more dealerships are asking for bank transfer as they will be charged to take money on a debit card, while it will be much less than a credit card they will still be charged. If I recall the last time i had to negotiate this it was around 3% for a Debit and 6% for a credit card.
