Personally I still think the Enyaq is unbeatable if you need space. Imho towing with an EV is never gonna be practical well until they build induction roads anyway.
Towing hybrid or straight ICE has gotta be the way to go. However the economics still work that for towing a caravan I’d either hire or buy something to tow for that holiday then get rid it’d still be cheaper.
Thanks to a small solar install even this time of year our electricity bill is now down to £9 a week or so on Agile (currently exporting 1.5kwh at 15p/kWh) that’s without an EV at the moment but even with an EV I’ll charge it at under 15p/kWh at home or less on sunny days.
0-60 has zero importance for me without a big enough boot and room for 4 adults. This is why it’s so important to have these 900 odd cars on the scheme everyone gets to pick what’s important to them.
