If its the extra traction that appeals then what I like about the subaru is that its permanent AWD, whereas a lot of 4WD systems kick in the extra drive only once it starts to lose traction.
That’s a good point. Actually, I watched one of the latest video reviews of the Torres and when they were on the off road (slight slope and grass) pat of the test drive the front wheels spun several times before the 4 wheel drive cut in. That could be seriously annoying.
