I have just spent 5 hours going over this car and comparing it to the enyaq 85x sport line as I’m thinking of cancelling the enyaq and going for this. Trying to compare specs is a pain as the brand websites are a pain to navigate. I really didn’t see much of a difference tbh. But must have missed some things @kezo may have noticed as you mentioned it. Both have the kick activated power boot, adaptive CC, lane assist, preheat etc that I want.
I had to do take some measurements online as I can not see the 3008 yet. The enyaq is 110mm longer, the 3008 is 16mm wider and 36mm higher. So not to much in it tbh. The enyaq boot has 65ltrs more space but the measurements make out that the enyaq is 20mm longer but 40mm narrower so not much size ways, so I’m wondering does the sloping roof mean that the boot shelf maybe lower in the 3008 and that’s why the enyaq has an extra 65ltrs. There’s not much in range difference that I can workout, enyaq has maybe 30 miles more, but it’s not something I looked at much as both will be an improvement on my konas average of about 190 miles which has never been a problem for me.
As I’m really looking to go car camping that bit of extra width in the 3008 would be better as it would be me and the two kids sleeping in it. The small difference in length should not affect us. Something that did get my attention is that the 3008 has V2L up to 3KW16A. Now it’s nothing I know about but after reading a few things on line I think I could run a small microwave off that which would be great.
I’ve had the old 3008 which is the only car I extended as I liked it and paid over 3k ap, so I’m sort of familiar with it as I think they are about the same size.
They are both great cars tbh and I’m being a little spoiled when I say why I’m thinking of cancelling the enyaq and ordering the 3008. It’s because I really hate that wee small drivers instrument cluster. Really, I think about that a lot, but with everything else being so good on the enyaq I went ahead and ordered. Now I’m not really into cars for example I don’t know what kind of alloys the enyaq has as I never really bothered to look. It’s all about the interior to me and that 3008 “cockpit” is stunning, I really love it tbh. I’m not fussed on speed or handling either as I’m more of a relaxed driver, so the reviews on that aspect don’t faze me. Also it has no rear wiper which will be a pain. It’s £400 pound dearer but worth it I think, so I will sleep on it tonight and make my decision in the morning.
