The franchise of dealership, makes a difference, I have two VW near me both 20-30 mins drive in opposite directions, one where I had my last VW from was awful customer service, yet their Audi garage (part of same group) couldn’t be more welcoming, the dealership in the opposite direction however was VW Skoda and they couldn’t have been more welcoming, no VW Motability accredited staff in so the Boss of the dealership brought one over from Skoda to VW to place my order for a Golf. He’s updated me monthly and honestly can’t fault them. It definitely varies.
I think the only way to get change for the better is if we list our experiences in one place so we can choose . But that would be cluttered and difficult in a forum thread. We need a click on map.
