Just spoke to a lovely lady at bmw Tamworth she has access to build slots for the whole country she said nothing before July.
she said in regards to existing build slots if you’re a 112 atm, which I am. Changing the spec etc would push it back out to 047 because bmw would then have to assess if they have build capacity for that spec including those materials and any optional extras.
she said if she was me and because I’m at a 112 I’ve got a good build date so she would stick to it, otherwise it could get long.
hence, I’ll be sticking with my black sport now with sun protection, lumbar and heated steering.
