@Glos Guy No it’s not, you should know better being a BMW cheerleader. I was only driving one the other day and it was most certainly an X3. Apart from being RWD and an electric power train it’s the same car but nicer.The ride was just as good, handled even better more refined and built too the same standard. I would love to see this car on Motability but at over £60,000 I’m not holding my breath.
Thanks for clarifying (I shall ignore the ‘BMW cheerleader jibe). I thought it had the latest generation interior (one piece infotainment and instrument cluster etc) but having just looked it up I see that it has the older style dashboard and still has things such as the favourites buttons (which I think are a fabulous idea that I would really miss). Even though I would prefer a petrol X3, if the iX3 came onto the scheme then I would order one but, like you, I won’t be holding my breath.
