Thanks but travelling that way will be motorway not rural driving buddy. As I said bottom of a valley, roads never treated in winter and farm vehicles and tourists dumping mud everywhere (tourists can’t cope without white lines and chew the banks up frequently) our road has an opening opposite to a field and whenever farmers go in and out mud all over lol and no they don’t clean up although sometimes in the summer they spray people’s houses watering their potatoes.

I’m not asking anyone to pay for that as I’ve tried to make that clear apologies if I haven’t.

I’m aware of what’s on the scheme and what prices are, the 60 edition is under the £1499 threshold but I’m wary of that much smaller battery on the 60 coming from a ZS and that it’s for 3 years I don’t want to be putting Motability in the position of asking to change after X months because it’s too restrictive after all, iykwim.

I know of 2 others who live in/around Scotland who had a similar case and got an updated award. I even think there might’ve been a case on here too, if not it was another forum lol.

Anyway this wasn’t supposed to be about car suggestions etc as I’m ordering the 85 Sportline plus with or without the grant, I’ve got a plan, not a great plan but it’s one nevertheless. I really just wondered if anyone had come across a grant and new car payment thing and the 50% self contribution and part ex and how it all goes together, as I’m seriously confused by it all. Their website doesn’t help either I guess the FAQs were all written before the NCP came along.

I have asked motability but no reply yet and the case manager might be away for Christmas now so I just hoped someone might’ve come across that scenario, I guess not but thanks to everyone for the suggestions and replies I’m not trying to pee on any bonfires or be awkward. They really just seem to have hyper fixated on big boot and ignored everything else.

Once I do find out I’ll post it here as ultimately it’ll answer for others in the future
