We have a Samsung UE55JS9000 bought in 2016 coupled up to a Denon / Monitor Audio AV system. Great picture and sound BUT having got the itch to buy a LG OLED65G36LA (thanks to Richer Sounds!). But only watch evening TV, spend more time on my Razer Laptop – Get Prime etc on it. Do I need it No. Do I want it? (bit like asking a kid at Xmas) Oh hum.
The G3 is brighter due to its micro array lens technology but, you can get the G2 £800 cheaper. Its no slouch and will still blow your Sammy out the water 🙂
Edit I have had the G1 for a couple of years now and mainly use a jailbreaked firestick.
