The weird thing is motobility have allowed me to have it hard wired, they jsut told me that if the electronics go faulty and its found the writing of the camera to be the cause, they wont pay for the repair as warranty is then voided, which i was willing to accept, but yeah, without the official boot latch that comes ford, its a no go, only other alternative is keeping the camera inside the car and attached to the bottom of the windscreen, but i dont thin that would work well as a reverse camera then
