I never, for a second, thought it would be an ideal for everyone, I had just never seen any mention of it here in the forums. Of course different people have different needs, and it isn’t a one car solves all kind of thing.
I personally really wanted a skoda superb estate but missed the boat. I do find the height of the xc60 I used to have, as well as the tiguan I currently have helpful, but I occasionally find myself in my sons Golf R and I figured if I can get in and out of that nothing would be off limits. I definitely don’t want something THAT low but I CAN handle it if needed.
Range isn’t much of an issue for me, the tiguan gets a touch under 500 miles per tank and I fill it every 5-6 weeks. Its a rare day I get close to 100 miles now so the 220 miles instead of 300+ isn’t a real issue personally
