Thanks for your kind wishes. In an ideal world the 2.0l would come on, and give people more choice. At the same time if you avoid the V1 version rrp £ 32890 (also on the scheme at £ 2899), and instead, move on up to the V2 version. rrp £ 35015 (on the scheme at £ 3099), the one I’m getting looks exactly the same, both externally and internally, as their most expensive model, the VZN, rrp £ 48270. It feels more like a £ 50,000+ car. And fling in the Blue Petrol Matt finish, and sunroof, and add that to an already fabulous car, it’s like a gift from the motabilty gods fell on my lap. And I can’t stop smiling, or planning all the wonderful journeys this new car will enjoy. Cheers.
Nice car David. I really like those matt colours on certain cars. Very distinctive.
Just a couple of points regarding your costings though! Like so many people who post on this forum, you have overlooked the biggest cost, which is the sacrificed benefits of circa £11,500 over the 3 year lease. You would also get the GCB if you left the scheme. So the true cost to you of your new car is more like £16,000 but, as kezo says, it’s your money and if it makes you happy and you can afford it then it’s worth every penny!
