Like @kezo I just don’t follow the logic of several posters. Nobody has been forced to choose an EV, presumably they chose one because they wanted one. If they chose one for any other reason then that’s daft as even 2030 was still at least two more Motability cars away! The postponement of the cut off date from 2030 to 2035, which was entirely predictable, makes no difference whatsoever to a Motability customer. Those that want an EV can still get one. Those that don’t want one don’t have to get one (although the choice is admittedly very poor). It’s wrong to blame a government for individuals making a choice that they may now regret, especially when neither the original or new date change is of no relevance whatsoever to that choice.
