It is common for a service to be shared between two terraced or semi detatched properties, but is less common for 3 or more to share a looped supply, apart from some older streets, that have not seen any upgrade work.
Even if you all shared the same supply, becoming de-looped will have majour advantages over time. The minor works orderwill also have the advantage of being cost free to you and your neighbours as your having a EVCP fitted. The cost would otherwise be upwards of £1000 per property if one of you had equipent or a extension that exceeded the maximum demand of their cutout. All the work would be carried out at the same time meaning not only you but your, neighbour/s are futurproofed to the latest requirements. One day they or their property will need a charge point fitted and no one knows yet if this work will be chargeable in the future! In my oppinion its well worth it and they tend to put back drives as the found them, plus they aren’t huge holes!
