As above it does depend on personal circumstances. As Phaedra states a doubt I would be able to justify going for a £50k plus motor by lease etc. I do think the ap’s look excessive but in general I agree with Gee the scheme is very competitive with any other option available. General motoring costs are going through the roof and we are protected to a degree by the scheme. I also appreciate the way the scheme is enhancing the choice of EV options and allowing members to at least try the green offerings available.
The scheme also winds up the garbage right wing press,(telegraph, express, fail etc) which is another positive for many.
