mettallic colours are nearly always free on mota, volvo did try charging but it only lasted a month or so.
special paints are usually charged at the difference between metallic and special.
for example i was looking at a skoda and metallic was free but listed at 850 but a gorgeous bright orange was listed at 1050 so i would have had to pay £300.00
some are now making all colours free which is pretty good.
dont forget to play dealers of against each other,many contributors on here have got dealers to match offers by others. and although you may travel to get a discount you are not tied to that dealer for servicing or any issues that crop up you can go to our nearest.
