I hope that you are able to resolve those issues soon.
My BT home essentials is not the quickest broadband out there but its quick enough for everyday browsing and even downloading movies and/or larger files etc.
EXAMPLE:
A 3gb 1080p movie download will take approximately 15 mins to fully download late at night but perhaps 20+ mins early evening.
Tested moments ago (6.03pm)my BT essentials returned 34.5 Mbps download & 7.20 Mbps upload speeds.
Plus i get an inclusive landline handset with 700 mins free calls per month.
Total Monthly Cost:
A very reasonable £15 per month.
Footnote:
In the 4 months that i’ve had BT essentials broadband & phone i haven’t made a single landline call.
