My year old id3 charging cover on the car seized. I was unable to charge car. RAC came out and said common problem. Actuator had seized. Car taken to VW. Used a hammer to smash cover as only way to gain access. New actuator and cover came in 24 hrs. But due to paintwork damage by garage will not get car back for over a week due to paintwork being repaired.
