That was the case prior to July, their new Intelligent Octopus rate is 29.6p Peak, 7.5p off-peak, the peak charge is identical to their flexible standard tariff. Probably thanks to OVO’s competition!
Intelligent Octopus give 6 hours off peak + other slots at various times according to the cars need and your stated level of charge required.
OVO can be good as all car charging is covered at 10p/kw regardless of when you do so, but it does not give you any other off-peak benefits.
