    It’s always tricky to play the waiting game for a new quarter.  You might be better off, you might not, you might find the car gone.  However, most dealerships would have an idea of what will be happening a few days before and might give you an insight.  For example a few customers said they were advised to wait or were signed on after the new quarter as prices were lower.  For another vehicle, they’d be advised to get in soon before they pay more after the new quarter.

     

    It’s a gamble but if you’re seeking something available now or at least very soon, they you’ll be paying whatever they want (within reason) to avoid someone else getting in first.  I’d say, if you find the car you want available to be picked up before the new quarter, then that’s got to be worth the risk of finding one for less but with a 4 month wait, or longer.  Only you know whether time or price is your biggest priority.
