Given that Motability will give dealers a rather meager fixed price for ‘selling’ a Motability car, regardless of car value. From that they may well lose transactional costs (card fees/banking fees) and will lose some time in administration. Whilst this isn’t a huge amount lost, the pot it came from wasn’t exactly big in the first place. From memory they get £500 for the car.
To stay in business they’ll need a lot of disabled customers.
Selling their own stock will generate so much more for them so they’ll be nuts to not keep some cars for that purpose.
