I don’t think the Elegance comes with the variable floor, certainly my R-Line never and I had to modify my boot, pictures here in, to get the flat floor.
Originally when I ordered the car I was going to have a hoist installed but cancelled that because I now have an auto folding scooter and use a lift platform to raise it to the flat floor level.
I do believe like you said if you order a full size spare wheel you get the variable floor thrown in but by the time I change my mind about the hoist it was too late and the dealer advise not to change my order by adding the wheel because I could be at the back of the long queue after already waiting 5 months that turned out to be 15 months delivery time.
