Hi Big Dave, it’s strange, most of my colleagues were not aware, plus some did not even know about DDS! Asda have announced on the app site, extended the discount to 30th April
The previous extensions of the ASDA discount were for 6 months, then 3 months. Only extending the current one by a month sounds a bit ominous (but I hope not)!
It is concerning if HM Forces personnel and veterans do not know about DDS (or the BLC for that matter). DDS is, after all, enshrined into the Armed Forces Covenant!
I will raise it at the next VAPC meeting, hopefully to get the lack of awareness raised at the OVA. It will give Jonnie Mercer MP something to do!
