I was looking at the MG5 and thinking of getting it ex vat, so started looking at the used prices, they’re around £32,000 new but a 2022 low mileage model can be got for £26,000 but there was a facelift in between. A new MG5 minus vat would be £26,500, this would give plenty of flexibility for losing with depreciation.
I had an MG5 as a company car. We had 2 of them both had multiple faults. One was off the road for 3 months as it wouldn’t charge, both had electrical and software faults. Just be careful if you’re buying one as you might need deep pockets. The MG dealers by the way were useless.
