Well todays trip was a bit better, programmed Google maps to go the “scenic” route 🙂
Some snow here (about 1″) so problems getting out of the cul-de-sac and onto the main road due to the cr@p 19″ tyres. Once out the roads were clear, some snow flurries on the way and of course the heated washers were frozen as usual!. Also the forward sensors kept coming up with warnings and not working, it’s a common problem ad happens every time it snows.
Anyway, got to the hospital in about an hour (39mile the way I went) and managed to get a disabled space, timed it nicely, was just about to start swearing at everyone parked on the double yellow and red lines when someone reversed out just in front of me so I got their space 🙂
10min walk to the reception and dropped off the monitor, 10mins back to the car and on my way home via my son’s in central Durham which was remarkably clear of snow!. So in total about 3 hours round trip. So now off for a nice nap with the cat!.
Of course I have to do the same thing again next week, appointment is at 3:45 so will get stuck in all the tea time traffic on the way back.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
