Kezo just for future reference the £15 membership covers a tv for 5 years at Costco ? Is it a 2 man delivery ? If anything goes wrong do you take it to your nearest store mine is just 15 mins away
Hi Mike from my own expieience as long as you were an active member when you purchased it they will honour the 5yr guarantee, just keep the original paperwork. They may try it on and say you need to renew your membership at the time but you don’t have to (not the end of the world anyway)
If you are refering to the Hisense currently on offer it comes with a 2yr manufacturers guarantee plus 3yr costco. they have a no quible 90 day return for any reason.
If something were to go wrong (highly doubtful after the 1st year) Costco will arrange for an authorized serve repair in home or their own service company after the manufacturers guarantee runs out. If it cannot be repaired they will offer you a no hassle refund. You could also contact the manufacturer within its guarantee perid. Costco is one of if not the best places Ive come accross for customer service.
Delivery in most cases for that size of TV will be one man delivery and will more than likely pop it in the room if you ask. The two I bought the delivery man followed in behind me with the second set. Or you could just as easily slide the box into your living room.
There is a simple way of getting a TV out of the box without any fathing of lifting it out.
