I remember back in 2018 I rang Motability about a grant in particular for a C3 Aircross 1.2 Flair EAT6 AP was £695 I was already into my 5th year with the C3 Picasso and I couldn’t guarantee the GCB because all my alloys were badly corroded Diamond Cut arrrgh. They said is there anything I could contribute I said £250
Anyway was put on hold they guy came back he said he spoken to Grants and they said you could have a C1 for Nil AP. I said you are joking a 1960s Mini is bigger than a C1 I said ok thanks for nothing.
Then I found out on one of the Motability groups on Facebook around the same time a woman was given the £650 ap for the same car.
They didn’t even go into details of my needs. So I ended up with the C4 Cactus which was a lovely car and I was sad to have to change it after 2 years but I started to really struggle getting in and out of it. My mam helped me out with this C4 I got now as she had some money left from when my Grandfather passed away.
I wrote a letter of complaint and emailed never bothered to reply though.
