I took my Sportage up and down the M54 last night, dropping it into 3 rd gear, accelerating to 4000rpm and letting it off for 5 seconds more times than I care to mention and I still have this exhaust warning light on!! The engine was super hot and I was pushing nearly 80mph by the time I was accelerating and leaving it then accelerating again. This is an absolute nightmare, I must have wasted at least £10 worth of fuel (sorry Greta) and I’m at a loss about what else to do apart from call the dealership. I can’t do this kind of thing every 1000 miles can I?
