I agree the Ariya is better specced with a 360 camera and electronically adjustable seats and a much better quality cabin.
However, the space and the range of the ID5 is an important plus point for me. I went with the extra tech pack which adds better audio, heads up display and wireless charging which aligns nearly to the nissan Ariya pricing.
I believe its a more practical choice with the ID5 or going for something more premium in the Ariya.
In all honesty both of these are not as good as the Korean competitors with the KIA EV6 and the IONIQ5 but I doubt they’ll ever get on the scheme.
I think, if you can afford either the Ariya/ID5 it will be worth it and you can recoup some money on fuel savings.
My plan is to buy the ID5 when the lease ends as I think the price will drop as more competition comes in and the supply issues sort themselves out.
