Have exactly the same problem with my GTSLine MHEV, it’s a motability car, though granted I had to put nearly 4K to get it, I would add this in my 5th sportage ( 1st one on the scheme), they suit my needs, I can fit my scooter in the boot etc, BUT what a pain in the a**e this one is, I don’t want to burn petrol just to fix design fault, I had a force regen at 1400 miles ( spent 2 hours at motorway speeds didn’t clear it),then after less than 400 miles the GPF lights back on I was getting 28 mpg out of my 1.6 Turbo  L4 auto this ones down to 23mpg I will run it till it breaks then let motability/kia argue it out, quite frankly wish I hadn’t bothered.

My daughter has the Tuscon 1.6 MHEV on a lease, Hyundai will do a frg under the warranty but kia Stourbridge wont ( motability did authorise it).  Plus I do regular motorway trips. I want kia to put in writing exactly how I should drive it, then watch their reaction when it inevitably fails again and I can prove my driving style through the kia app.
