That would pee me off too!
I added the X pack and other extras to my S-Max in 2018 to get much the same, mostly for the rear camera, leather and the electric & heated seats, but at the time you had to pay extra for all the X pack stuff. The front camera wasn’t that useful, the view was too low res & a bit small to see cars coming at junctions etc. The Sony amp/music system however, was brill, better than the Harman Kardon system in the Soul EV I have now. Never used the park assist, not even to see if it worked…
Must admit, I do miss the S-Max, it was sooo comfy. Wife says the same, she wishes we had another one, but it’s gone now.
I am looking at the Citroen C5X for the Soul replacement, although that’s 18mths away, so who knows what will be on the scheme by then, and at what silly AP.
