If you like the VW ID range then the MG4 is for you at a far cheaper price point. The long range has a 77kWH battery and a range 329 miles putting it close to the ID Tour. Equipment levels are good accross the range with MG Pilot which includes adaptive cruise control and access to the ismart app and a 10.25″ media screen. Sadly I don’t think the SE trim as Sat Nav. The Trophy trim has 360 cameras, live services, heated seats ans steering wheel. You can also use your phones bluetooth as a key similar to Tesla.
Most excitingly MG is to launch a dual motor variant with 33oKW (400hp). MG predicts it will have a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds 🙂 But we will have to wait untill 2023/24 for it and doubtful it would join the scheme. Its also rumoured to only have a 64KW battery 25o mile range.
Personally I think it looks better both interior and exterior than the ID3. The lack of a Sat Nav if true on the SE trim would be a deal breaker for many, leaving the Trophy as the prefered trim with the extra goodies, but increased AP
