Has anyone had experience of a long motorway journey. Noise levels, comfort and range. I just wondered as I have to do a regular 200 mile round trip, I hope I wont have to charge at motorway prices.
We do 250+ miles every few weeks. Comfort is fine, though nowhere near as comfortable as my previous Kugas, but theyre much bigger and higher up. The range varies – Im not interested in mpkWh, I want to get from A to B in the shortest time. Motorway chargers are more often than not occupied or faulty, so plan your journey and places to charge, ahead. Beware of rip off charges ie Ionity and Osprey who charge almost twice as much as Mer and BP Pulse.
Overall, the car is brilliant and we love it. Our Kuga was costing £75 each way in petrol. The Kona is less than half that.
