We had a fine 2″ scratch caused by bramble, of which around 1/2″ had gone down to the metal. Dealer refused to “pass” it on handover but we still got good condition bonus. It really is down to the dealership where you purchase your new car, specifically the individual. I did try to get 3 quotes from smart repairers, 2 were not interested, the third Chips Away quoted a ballpark of £250 but said 2 months before they could do the work. The days of quick “cheap” or good value repairs have gone sadly.
