My son was the youngest matertech at an Audi dealership in Staffrdshire, he came out of Audi college with an award not many get and was in a mtoring journal fr achieving it. Any how he worked for a multi branch desalership similar to Sinclairs that had all VAG derived cars. They had in goung around each of the dealersips when a prblem couldn’t be soved, In the end he got sick of it and Bentley factory in Crewe had been trying to poach him for a good couple of years. He went Bentley as their head auto spark and now is the manager of the department at 31.
Anyhow @steve none of that really matters but its a pitty he didn’t work for Sinclairs and no doubt you wouldn’t be in this mess.

I had my Tuscon from Hutchings Swansea and the sales guy gave me the option to have one from the showroom or jump on a prelocated rder at the factor, which I did and it was here in just under 3months.
Ironically I picked it up in March this year and a month later a tyre pressure monitor went faulty. The service girl at the desk came out and had a look and said put 32psi in the tyre and it will go off. The tyre was allready at max pressure. Told her the problem but wouldn’t listen. It went in again a couple of weeks later as it kept loosing the correct time (hour) and date, nothing could be found. Got home disconnected the battery for a couple of mins, been fine since.
I think we are going to get this at most sevice departments where ever we go.
