I am coming off the scheme  this year , and was looking at the auto i10 and picanto which both have this box, i could not get a test drive in the auto as no one had one , but i spent a lot of researching on the web and on forums and I would say 75% of the people that drove that box said it was shocking although 25% really liked it, most people said it was slow to change gears and obviously slow to get to speed and you could feel every gear change thing that came up a bit was pulling off from roundabouts and standing starts there could be a slight delay in the box engaging, the AMT is the cheapest type ” automatic gearbox”

in the end I have bought a Dacia Sandero automatic, should arrive  near the end of the year and was very surprised how smooth the CVT box is, given I am coming from a DSG box, also the ride was very comfortable in the Dacia , much more roomy than the Hyundai or Kia which on both of them I found the ride comfort pretty hard

are you thinking of getting this car on scheme or private, as much better cars on scheme than the i10 for no or little AP
