Easier to plug it in every night and charge to 80%, then to 100% when you need it. Takes a few seconds to plug in, with a tethered charger. Otherwise you may not get as much charge as you need within the 4 hours.
This is in line with my thinking, I would want to keep the car at a minimum of 50%, so whilst I probably won’t charge every night, I suspect 2 or 3 times a week, with the occasional charge to 100%.
