Hi Rene ? Sorry, the brand snob thing wasn’t aimed at you ? I have 9 months or so until I need to order something or may well have to hang on to the Ateca. The C5 certainly isn’t a particularly exciting drive but now I’ve been a pensioner for a whole week I may have to change my expectations, a comfy sofa with wheels seems very tempting at the moment ? If they don’t sort out my pension credit I’m going to be about £400 a month worse off now, that really won’t help with the larger AP’s we’re seeing ?

It really is a Sofa on wheels. I don’t think i’ve ever driven a more comfortable car, so if comfort is dear, then yeah. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it (if you fit).

Hanging on to the Ateca is certainly not the worst decision one could take, we have ours for 3.5 years now and still mostly happy with it. It’s just the “new stuff” itch. 😀

Though the fitment issue might sort itself out soon, you’re at the shrivelling age/stage now. 😉 😀

There will be different choices within the next 9 months (my guess would be Q1 23), but whether or not APs come down, i’m not sure.
