Morning, thanks for the replies, vented a bit after that. I HATE the phone & avoid it at all costs so after all those calls yesterday & getting nothing but sympathy & no. What a nightmare. Motability not interested so far filled out a complaint form last night see what comes of that.
They sent one guy out this morning despite the car being dead & needing to be pushed round 2 corners & RAC guy recording all that last night. I was “forced” to help the guy push the car whilst my wife steered or it wasn’t going to get taken. I feel dreadful now.
Plus side called the local 5 miles away dealer its going to & he’s moving stuff about to try & get me a car honestly the dealer has done more for me in 5 mins than 3 hours of RAC & Motability yesterday.
I’m not going to making rash decisions & that’s great advice but I suffer from severe anxiety part of that is transport related esp mot time which was partly why I joined the scheme to be covered now I find its not worth the paper it’s printed on.
Funnily enough if you go to europcar website it allows you to book and pay for half a dozen automatic vehicles from this depot from today. Almost like they are holding them back as they’re more popular than a tiny manual hatch & they get more money for them from private customers….
I wonder if europcar get paid the same no matter the vehicle. Wife was gonna call them & ask to see if we can catch them out lol.
