Ordered Kona end of October- had OHME charger fitted in February. I already had 3.5 charger on wall for my Prius Phev – new one is 7.4 – so my Prius happily charged on that. There is an app for OHME that I have downloaded and logged the Prius to it – tho it is only being used as a dumb charger. When Kona arrives I will link that and it will allow me to set charging times and pre heating or cooling car in warm or cold weather – I should stress this is only my understanding from reading manual and looking at some vids – I suspect unless it is a hot or cold day and I am going on a long journey it will just be used once or twice a week as dumb charger.
My understand of heat pump is it is only cost effective in cold climates where the user regularly does a long journey. It does amuse me that I have only driven an older lower spec Kona for about an hour – but reviews and YouTube are turning me into a bit of a geek – tho I suspect family would say that happened long before YouTube existed ??
