it’s horrendous, I always forget to turn it off b4 I driveDon’t know if you know: if you press the end of the left stalk in, you get the menu for the assists in the dash – with LHA being the first option. You just need to press “OK” on the steering wheel and it turns off.
It takes less than a second, just press the left stalk (i can’t remember whether or not it was a button at the end or the entire stalk, might’ve been a button at the end/cap) and immediately confirm on the steering wheel, and it’s off. Can be done without looking and isn’t distracting (lane assist is always selected first). Doesn’t make it great in the first place, but it’s reasonably easy to turn it off, unlike in other cars.
We actually pulled over on our test drive after a mile to scavenge through the manual, to see how to deactivate it.
Rene, The last unconfirmed date I had was week 22 if I remember correctly back in January, I told them not to bother giving updates of unconfirmed dates as they have all come and gone without result. I haven’t heard from dealership since January so I’m going that it’s still sitting at a minimum of week 22.
Heck. Doesn’t make me comfortable considering we’re now “only” 5ish months into our wait – the thought that we might not even be half way through it is really frustrating. Actually called Peugeot today, seeing whether or not they have the new 308 on the lot – end of april he told me, so we’ll take that for a spin and make our minds up then.
