If it’s a common car that’s been out a while you might be able to find replacement seat backs at a breakers yard for less than the insurance excess.
May also be able to buy just the covers brand new cheaply.
Or, if you don’t have much longer left on the lease, it may not be worth repairing, and just forfeiting the good condition bonus if it’s really bad.
